Dr. Robert L. Delarosa is the founding partner of Associates in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American College of Dentists. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where he received the ASDC Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award in Pediatric Dentistry and The 2016 Distinguished Alumnus Award. He completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, serving as senior chief resident.
He has lectured extensively to many organizations and groups, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and (g)nathos. He is a published author and was the Chair of the Council on Clinical Affairs of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He has served in leadership roles in numerous dental professional organizations at the state, regional and national levels. He has served as President of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association. He holds membership in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatrics, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Louisiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Louisiana Dental Association and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association. He has also served on the boards of several professional and business organizations, and remains active in the community. His family is also actively involved with the Progeria Research Foundation. A native of New Orleans, he is the married father of twins, and enjoys traveling with his family.
Dr. Bradley Comeaux is a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge. He completed his dental training at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Comeaux completed a one year residency in General Dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry. He then went on to complete a two year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at LSU and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.
Dr. Comeaux has been involved in several research projects all aimed at the improvement of materials used in dentistry. Dr. Comeaux is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, and active member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. He is an active lecturer in the surrounding area. To remain up to date on the latest technologies and philosophies, Dr. Comeaux continually attends seminars and lectures.
Dr. Comeaux was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is married to Dr. Paige Sigsworth who is from the New Orleans area. Together, they enjoy the practice of pediatric dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Comeaux enjoys golfing and is an avid sports fan of the LSU Tigers.
Dr. Paige Sigsworth graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Dr. Sigsworth then proceeded to LSU School of Dentistry earning her DDS degree. She completed her two year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry and Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. Dr. Sigsworth completed several research projects. She has also presented the results of this research across the country.
Dr. Sigsworth is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She continues to stay abreast of the most current techniques as she regularly attends continuing education seminars and lecturers.
In addition to their skills in the field of pediatric dentistry, Dr. Sigsworth and Dr. Comeaux enjoy attending LSU football games, vacationing, and spending time with their family.
Dr. Brynn Leroux is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and was ranked 2nd in her graduating class. She completed a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina, acting as Chief Resident. A native of Maringouin, LA, Dr. Leroux graduated as Valedictorian from Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee and continued on to study Biological Sciences at LSU in Baton Rouge. Dr. Leroux is a partner in Associates in Pediatric Dentistry, a group practice with 4 locations serving the Greater Baton Rouge area. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has begun the certification process through the American Board of Laser Surgery. Dr. Leroux has completed Standard Proficiency certification by the Academy of Laser Dentistry. She is an active member of numerous local and national dental organizations and honorary societies, including the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, OKU National Dental Society, C.E. Kells Honorary Society, and Pierre Fauchard Honor Society. Dr. Leroux is also a board member for the Capital Area Partners Cleft Initiative at OLOL Children’s Hospital, supporting, educating and encouraging families throughout the state of LA in their cleft and craniofacial journeys.
After being personally affected by tongue tie and sleep disordered breathing, Dr. Leroux has taken a special interest in tethered oral tissues, airway centered dentistry, sleep medicine, and interceptive orthodontics. She is a TOTS trained professional, an active member and speaker of the American Laser Study Club, and a founding member of the International Consortium of Oral Ankylofrenula Professionals (ICAP), in which she currently serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. She evaluates her patients for signs and symptoms of tethered oral tissues and sleep disordered breathing and provides laser lip and tongue tie revisions from birth through adulthood using the Light Scalpel CO2 laser. Her practice can offer any level of sedation or anesthesia “in house” as needed to provide patients with the most thorough, positive, and safest laser revision experience. Dr. Leroux works closely with a team of local lactation consultants, therapists, bodyworkers, pediatricians, and ENTs to ensure collaboration, follow through, and comprehensive care for her patients. In her spare time, Dr. Leroux, her husband, Lance, and her children, Anson and Amelie, enjoy entertaining family and friends, attending LSU football games, exercising, traveling, and spending time at their lake house.
Dr. Elizabeth Auld is a native of Lafayette, LA. She is a graduate of Academy of the Scared Heart in Grand Coteau, LA. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Biology in 2006. Dr. Auld received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2010.
Dr. Auld is a Board Certified General Dentist. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Louisiana Dental Association. She regularly attends continuing education classes and stays up to date on the latest technology and techniques. Through her work as a general dentist, she has had much experience working with children as well as adults. She is excited to be joining the AIPD team. She is married to Dr. Derek Scardina and enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Rebecca Day was born and raised in Baton Rouge, attending St. Aloysius School and St. Joseph’s Academy. She then completed her degree in Biological Sciences with minors in Sociology and Chemistry at Louisiana State University. Dr. Day earned her DDS degree in New Orleans at LSU School of Dentistry where she was awarded membership to the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society and the Theta Kappa Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She served one year as Secretary/Treasurer and one year as Vice President of her dental class. She then moved to New York City for three years to further her education in Dentistry. She completed a one year General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, New York and a two year Pediatric Dental Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Harlem, New York. She served as the Chief Resident in her final year of Pediatric Dental Residency and completed a research project during her time in New York. Dr. Day has participated in several philanthropic duties including a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic and a Dental Head Start Program in the Bronx. Dr. Day enjoys hanging out with her dog, fishing with her family, exercising, and attending LSU and Saints football games with friends.
